A man has been charged with murder after a woman was shot and killed Saturday morning at a Shell gas station off Interstate 95 in Wilson.
Wilson police said officers responded to the gas station at 4945 Raleigh Road Parkway just before 9 a.m. on Aug. 15 for a reported domestic incident involving a shooting.

Khisa Williams, 54, was taken to UNC Health but died before arriving at the hospital.
Devone Sharnell Best, 54, of Wilson, was arrested in Raleigh on Tuesday, Aug. 18, and charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was transported back to Wilson, where he is being held without bond.
