An autopsy report released Tuesday night reveals the cause of death for a Raleigh teacher was blunt force trauma to the head.
According to the autopsy report, Zoe Welsh suffered multiple injuries to her head and body. A brick was also found next to Welsh.

The toxicology report stated no alcohol or common medications or drugs were found in Welsh's system.
Welsh was killed inside her own home after Ryan Camacho, 36, broke in through a window and assaulted her on Jan. 3.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, Welsh called 911 around 6:33 a.m. from her home on Clay Street to report that a man was inside her home.
While Welsh was on the phone, Camacho began attacking her.Warrants showed Camacho confessed to a detective during the questioning process.
According to the warrant, Camacho “made an utterance” about Welsh’s death while being interviewed by investigators, indicating he knew how Welsh died and asked if this was about the woman he killed.
According to court documents, Camacho has a lengthy criminal history in Wake and Durham counties. Records show he has been arrested more than 20 times.
Welsh taught science for more than 30 years. She taught at Leesville Road High School before Ravenscroft.
