Videos posted on social media of an apparent road rage incident show a man yelling and threatening a woman on a major Greensboro highway with her child in the car. 

It happened on Interstate 85 northbound near the Raeford exit around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Greensboro police said.

Myeka Dunn said she was on her way to drop off her 3-year-old son at her mom's house when she captured the interaction on camera. 

“He was swerving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed,” Dunn wrote. “He almost hit my car when he cut me off in traffic. I honked my horn at him. He then slammed on his brakes in front of us."

He continued to drive recklessly, she said.

“He then got back in front of me and slammed on his brakes again,” she wrote. “I went around him again and got my phone out to record his reckless driving.”

In the video the man is seen yelling, “you are going to die! You are going to die!” he continues driving and yells, “I could kill you! I could kill you!”

According to the Greensboro Police Department, a be-on-the-lookout, or BOLO, was issued after receiving reports of a dark blue sedan swerving in and out of lanes and yelling at other drivers. 

Police said they have identified the driver. 

“The victim has been advised how to obtain a warrant on a misdemeanor charge from the Magistrate’s Office due to the incident occurring outside the presence of officers,” Greensboro police wrote in a statement.

At this time, no arrest has been made.

“I’m so upset and hurt that my baby and my life was put in immense danger,” Dunn wrote. “This man intentions was to harm us and this could’ve ended very badly.”  

Dunn told WRAL News she is in the process of obtaining a warrant for a misdemeanor charge against the other driver.
