Garon Killian, the 20-year-old facing an attempted first-degree murder charge connected to the mass shooting in Catawba County, has bonded out of jail and is under electric monitoring.
Killian made his first court appearance on Wednesday. He was given a $200,000 bond, which he paid, and was ordered to remain under electronic monitoring upon his release. The judge also issued a curfew for Killian.

Sheriff Don Brown said at a press conference on Wednesday that it is "infuriating" that Killian was released.
One person died and 11 others were injured in the shooting at a house party near Hickory over the weekend.
The Catawba County Sheriff's Office is still searching for two additional suspects in connection with the mass shooting. Ke’andre Mack and Toland Huff, Jr., are both charged with attempted first-degree attempted murder and considered armed and dangerous.
Two additional suspects, Patrick Tolbert, 22, from Hickory, and Raekwon Craig, 21, of Taylorsville, were arrested and charged with three counts of aiding and abetting a person under the age of 21 by allowing the possession of alcoholic beverages.

"It's hard for us to go out, spend countless hours around the clock, arrest these people, and then they're back in the community," said Chris Laws, special agent with SBI. "But rest assured, the SBI and all of these partners that you see up here will not stop until those are held accountable, are arrested."
Investigators have maintained that there were multiple shooters at the party.
Detectives identified the person who was killed as 58-year-old Shawn Hood of Lenoir. Investigators believe he may have played a role in organizing or promoting the party.
Investigators said it's unclear if Hood was the intended target or if he was a victim caught in the crossfire.
