No injuries were reported after a fire ripped through a Dollar General in Granville County Thursday night.
A viewer captured a photo where smoke could be seen coming from the building on South Main Street in Creedmoor.

A large emergency responder presence could also be seen in the photo.
The fire started inside while the staff was closing up the store. Two employees and two customers were inside at the time. Around 75 firefighters from eight different departments responded to the fire, officials said.
“It was challenging just from the nature of the building and the contents and that kind of stuff,” said Richard Ray, a firefighter with Creedmoor Volunteer Fire Department.
Photos captured during the daytime on Friday also showed extensive damage.
Caution tape was wrapped around the store, and there was lots of debris. Officials said the fire ripped through an aisle of the store and eventually led to a minor explosion that blew through the front doors.

Officials have not confirmed what caused the fire. Investigators say they are working to rule out every possibility, including arson.
