WITN reports the FAA is investigating after a plane landed on its belly at Coastal Carolina Regional Airport.
The FAA said the landing gear of a Piper PA-24 plane collapsed after landing at EWN around 8 p.m. Sunday.

Airport director Andrew Shorter was only able to share a few details about what he called a “wheels up landing.”
According to Shorter, the plane had a landing gear problem, and when the plane went to land, the gear folded underneath, causing the plane the slide on its belly, also known as a “gear-up landing."
The FAA confirmed three people were on board the plane.
No one was injured.
