Nashville police chase ends in crash, suspect in custody

A police chase in Nashville ended with a crash Monday night, as officers attempted to stop a vehicle near US Highway 64 Alternate and Corbett Road.

A person in Nashville crashed during a pursuit Monday night, police said.

According to Nashville police, officers attempted to stop the car near US Highway 64 Alternate and Corbett Road when the suspect led police on a chase.

Police said the driver is in custody and is being checked out at the hospital as a precaution.

There is no word yet on why police were attempting to stop the suspect. The investigation is still ongoing.
