YADKIN COUNTY, N.C. (WXII) - Two children who authorities said were abducted in separate North Carolina communities have been found safe in Georgia, and a 21-year-old South Carolina man is facing extradition back to North Carolina.
The Yadkin County Sheriff's Office was notified on Aug. 18 of an abducted 15-year-old girl from Rockford. Neighbors identified the kidnapper's car, and the authorities were able to identify him as Seth Zachary Tallmadge, 21, of South Carolina.

Authorities then learned he was also the suspect in a simultaneous abduction of an 11-year-old girl from China Grove, in Rowan County.
Deputies used Flock cameras to locate Tallamadge's vehicle and stopped him on Highway 67 near Statesboro, Georgia. He was arrested in Bulloch County, GA by the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office and Georgia State Highway Patrol.
Tallmadge is facing abduction charges in Yadkin and Rowan counties. He is being held at a jail in Bulloch County, Georgia and will appear at a hearing to determine his return to North Carolina.
The girls were safely reunited with their families.
