WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police say a volunteer coach has been arrested after inappropriate acts with a student, according to WXII staff.
Police say detectives were alerted to "an inappropriate relationship between a juvenile and a volunteer coach in the community."

According to records filed in Forsyth County court, the female victim was 16 at the time of the incident.
After "a thorough" investigation, Johnaisha Watson, 28, was arrested late last week and charged with two counts of felony sexual activity with a student.
Court documents say the sex offense happened in March 2024. Police records show it happened at The Quarry at Grant Park and was reported to authorities in August 2024. The arrest happened Jan. 29 at 9:35 a.m., online records show.
Watson was issued an unsecured bond of $50,000.
Tuesday, police did not share the name of the organization Watson was involved with.
