IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (WCNC) - A woman in custody in Alexander County is now facing additional charges in Iredell County, accused of dousing someone with gasoline.
Iredell County Sheriff's deputies said Christina Dawn Hatcher, 37, was at a gas station on Island Ford Road in Statesville on June 14 when she got into a verbal confrontation with another person and she threw gasoline on them.

There were no serious injuries reported. Hatcher was identified through witness statements and surveillance video.
Hatcher was in custody at the Alexander County Detention Center for breaking-and-entering charges. Her new charges include misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor injury to personal property.
She will appear in court on August 10 for the gas station incident.
