Likes best about North Carolina
Because I'm a huge sports fan, I love having three major ACC schools in my backyard in Duke, North Carolina and NC State.
There so many great food options too. Eventually, I must try them all.
Most memorable assignments
Getting to host the "Bleav in Steelers" show each week with two-time Super Bowl champion Ike Taylor is a treat. Ike teaches me something new about the NFL each time we talk.
In Florida, I covered hurricanes and tropical storms, including Hurricane Irma in September 2017. I also have experience covering major elections, development and the Tampa Bay Rays' ongoing stadium saga about whether they will continue to play at Tropicana Field after the 2027 season.
In Tennessee, I covered the Gatlinburg wildfires, University of Tennessee athletics, the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2016 presidential election.
