Family:
I love spending time with my parents, Danny and Tracie, and my older sister, Gabby. My grandparents have always been very special to me and involved in my life. Fun fact: I'm the only "Kadlubar" in the state!
Likes best about North Carolina:
The people! Everyone has been so kind and welcoming. Also, I love the hills! I'm from South Louisiana, which is beautiful, but very flat. The rolling hills are absolutely gorgeous to me.
Most memorable assignments:
I covered weather damage often, but, in May 2024, a major tornado swept through Temple, TX. It was the morning after, and I volunteered to work the morning show on my day off. I was able to show people damage in real time as well as update viewers on essential information.
A fun story--> Central Texas was in the path of totality for the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. I covered several stories in preparation of the big day as small towns prepared for the masses of visitors. The anticipation was fun, but covering the day from early morning to evening, was extremely memorable, especially the minutes when everyone was looking up at the sky.
