Professional Experience
While in school at UNC-Chapel Hill, I worked at Spectrum News 1 as an Editorial Fellow. After graduating and completing my fellowship with Spectrum in May 2024, I joined WRAL just two months later where I have been ever since.

In my free time I love giving back to the community. I am always volunteering with my nonprofit, Change the Type, to provide students in underserved communities access to resources and materials needed to be successful in the classroom.

I love the North Carolina beaches. I love being able to get away and enjoy the peaceful view of the water.
Most memorable assignments
Covering the Essence Festival as a student journalist was amazing. I was able to network with many celebrities, learn different skills from other experienced journalists, and explore different areas of journalism.
