Two brothers who attend Rolesville High School signed with the North Carolina Tar Heels football team.
Edge rusher Zavion Griffin-Haynes and his brother linebacker Jayden Griffin-Haynes signed their national letters of intent on Thursday at Rolesville High School.

"Coach Bill Belichick, just the support he gave me and my family, it just felt like home," Zavion Griffin-Haynes said.
Jayden Griffin-Haynes said he was excited to start the new chapter of his life and get onto UNC's campus.
"I love the coaches how they just treated my family and me," Jayden Griffin-Haynes said. "It's just an overall great coaching staff."
Zavion Griffin-Haynes said he was Belichick's first high school recruiting visit ever in his role as UNC's head coach.
"That meant a lot to me," Zavion Griffin-Haynes said.
The Griffin-Haynes have played football together since they were little kids.
Jayden Griffin-Haynes said it was a "blessing" to play with his brother at the collegiate level.
In June, the brothers announced their commitments to UNC and head coach Bill Belichick. Both brothers chose UNC over Florida State and NC State. Zavion Griffin-Haynes had also listed Nebraska as a finalist.

Zavion Grifin-Haynes is listed at 6-foot-6 and 225 pounds. 247Sports ranks him as the 461st-best prospect in the 2026 class, 44th-best edge rusher and 21st-best North Carolina prospect.
Jayden Griffin-Haynes is listed a 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds. 247Sports ranks him as the 1,411th-best prospect in the 2026, 117th-best line backer and the 48th-best North Carolina prospect.
Zavion Grifin-Haynes was previously committed to UNC when Mack Brown was the head coach. After Carolina fired Brown, Zavion pulled back his commitment.
