Carolina Hurricanes games will be available in 2026-27 with a subscription to Prime Video, the first distribution deal for the NHL franchise’s new Hurricanes Hockey Network.
Prime Video subscribers within the Hurricanes’ regional footprint can purchase a monthly subscription for $19.99 or an annual subscription for $99.99. Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year, but fans don’t need an Amazon Prime account to access the Hurricanes Hockey Network subscription.

The Hurricanes will produce their own games this season after the collapse of FanDuel Sports Network. The team is expected to announce other distribution options, including cable or satellite options and free over-the-air games before the start of the regular season. WRAL and Fox 50 have aired some regular-season games during the last two seasons.
“Given the evolving landscape of sports broadcasting, it is vital that we make sure we are meeting our fans where they are,” said Mike Sundheim, the team’s vice president of communications. “Streaming is a key piece of that puzzle.”
The Hurricanes are one of six NHL teams that will have their local broadcasts distributed on Prime Video, including the Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues, the league announced Wednesday.
The broadcast team of play-by-play announcer Mike Maniscalco, analyst Tripp Tracy, host Hanna Yates and studio analyst Shane Willis are returning for the 2026-27 season.
The Stanley Cup champions open their season Sept. 29 at home against Florida.
