Carolina Hurricanes fans now have one answer to the question of where they’ll be able to watch games this season.
The team announced Wednesday that Hurricanes Hockey Network (HHN) will be available as a subscription through Prime Video.

The service will be available to fans in the Hurricanes’ regional territory for $19.99 per month or $99.99 for an annual pass. Wednesday’s announcement provides the first confirmed option for watching HHN this season. The team said additional ways to access the network will be announced before opening night.
The Hurricanes are among sports teams increasingly turning to Prime Video and other streaming platforms to distribute local broadcasts. Fans outside the Hurricanes’ television territory can still watch games through NHL Power Play on the ESPN App or NHL Center Ice.
HHN will carry live games as well as pregame and postgame shows featuring play-by-play announcer Mike Maniscalco, analyst Tripp Tracy, Hanna Yates and Shane Willis.
Hurricanes Vice President of Communications Mike Sundheim will oversee HHN.
“Given the evolving landscape of sports broadcasting, it is vital that we make sure we are meeting our fans where they are,” Sundheim said. “Streaming is a key piece of that puzzle, and we are thrilled for the launch on Prime Video, which is readily accessible across a variety of devices. We look forward to announcing additional ways to watch our new network ahead of opening night.”
Maniscalco is entering his 11th season with the Hurricanes and seventh as the team’s television play-by-play announcer. Tracy is entering his 28th season as the Hurricanes’ analyst.
The 2026-27 NHL regular season is expanding to 84 games, giving each team 42 home games and 42 road games. The Hurricanes will open the season Sept. 29 at Lenovo Center against the Florida Panthers.
Prime Video recently announced it will stream three marquee Duke men’s basketball games as part of a new multiyear agreement. Prime Video also carries the NFL’s “Thursday Night Football” package and NBA games.
