A 17-year-old driver was cited on Monday for involvement in a school bus accident on Capital Blvd in Wake Forest.
The incident happened at the US-1 southbound intersection with Ponderosa Service Road and involved three vehicles.

The driver attempted to make a left turn but failed to yield to another southbound vehicle, crashing with it.
The impact caused the second vehicle to hit a stopped school bus that was fully occupied.
No injuries were reported, although one student on the school bus complained of wrist pain, which was cleared by emergency medical services.
According to the Wake Forest Public Information Officer, the 17-year-old was cited for unsafe movement.
