A huge motorcycle ride to memorialize a well-known man in Rocky Mount named Big Mike turned tragic.
The ride originated at Flying Iron Harley Davidson in Rocky Mount.

It was interrupted within a mile of starting when other riders reported a vehicle merged into the line of more than 300 bikes.
