A man was arrested Wednesday after Garner police said he led multiple law enforcement agencies on a chase in Wake County.
John Leak-McLeod, 19, of Cary, was charged with resisting a public officer, littering, felony flee/elude arrest and possession of marijuana, according to the Garner Police Department.

Around 2 a.m., the chase began at Garner Road and Technical Court. Garner police said they were attempting to pull over the driver of a 2004 Ford Escape for a traffic violation when the driver threw contraband out the window and sped away.
Garner police ended the chase on Garner Road near Raynor Road. At that point, a Wake County deputy began chasing the car.
The chase ended when the driver drove off the road and the car overturned on Rock Quarry Road near Ruby Drive.
Leak-McLeod was taken into custody, according to police, and the car was seized and towed.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker was at the scene and saw the car overturned and badly damaged.
According to Garner police, three people were transported to local hospitals. Their connection to the chase and crash was unclear.
This is the second chase to end in a crash in just two days. On Tuesday, a high-speed chase ended in a four-car crash in Cumberland County.
