A juvenile petition has been filed in the search for justice in the death of a 24-year-old woman.
Serenity Spencer died in a shooting near Wendell over the summer.

On Tuesday, Xavier Don ‘Ameche Atkinson and Kahlil Hahson Atkinson, who are brothers, were arrested and charged with Spencer's murder. The brothers made a court appearance on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Wake deputies obtained a juvenile petition for a third suspect they are attempting to apprehend.
A motive is still unknown at this time.
The shooting happened on June 30 on Hodge Road. Authorities said multiple people were gathered inside and outside of the residence when the shooting occurred.
