At least two people hospitalized after crash in Cary, alcohol possible factor

Two people were seriously injured in a crash Sunday night in Cary.

According to the Cary Police Department, the crash happened at 10:15 p.m. at the intersection of North Harrison Avenue and Chapel Hill Road.

Police said people in both vehicles have been taken to the hospital; one driver suffered "significant" injuries.

While police said the investigation ongoing, they believe alcohol was a factor.

Police partially closed the intersection while they cleared the scene and investigated the crash.
