Deputies in Orange County on Thursday quickly located a man in the Efland area who needed medical assistance.

Before 9 a.m., the Orange County Sheriff's Office was asking people in the area of of Carr Store Road and Efland Cedar Grove Road to be on the lookout for a 38-year-old man who needs medical assistance.

The man is described as Black man wearing no shirt and light-colored shorts.

If you see him, "please call 911 and report his location," the sheriff's office posted.

People were asked to not approach the man.

According to the sheriff's office, "Deputies do not believe the man is dangerous, but he is suffering from a medical episode and he fears people are trying to hurt him. As a result, his behavior may be unpredictable."

The man was safely located before 9:45 a.m.
