A Graham woman faces identity theft charges after she allegedly used her roommate's bank accounts to withdraw more than $1,700, according to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.
Jessica Holt, 26, faces four counts of felony identity theft and four counts of obtaining goods by false pretense. According to officials, Holt's roommate reportedly called authorities on Sunday to report 15 charges on her bank account that she did not authorize.

According to officials, Holt copied the victim's financial information and used it to gain cash. Between May 28 and July 22, there were 15 charges totaling $1,783.97 from Walmart.com, Moneygram, the Cash app and the Zelle app, officials said.
Holt admitted to making the charges and turned herself in, officials said. She was being held in the Alamance County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond.
