Tips To Save on School Supplies
1. Make a shopping list for all needed supplies and clothing. Use the school supply list from the school your child attends to make sure you get everything you need and you don't overbuy items they don't need.
2. Set a budget and let your child know about the spending limit. Let your child help make choices that keep you within the budget.
3. Shop your house first for school supplies left over from last year that are in good shape or extras that you did not use that can be included in the supplies for this year.
4. Shop the back to school sales that start every year around the first week of July and run through the beginning of September. You'll find some of the best deals of the year during this time on paper, notebooks, crayons, rulers, pencils, pens, index cards, dividers, folders, markers, pencil sharpeners, scissors, backpacks, uniforms and more.
