A family is on a powerful mission to help others after their tragic loss.
It was the best news they could have hoped for: a baby boy.

Cam and Meghan Parker couldn't wait for the arrival of their newest family member.
On Jan. 10, their dream became a reality when their son, Titus, was born.
But just a few days later, that dream turned into a nightmare. Titus had been diagnosed with necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC).
"It's like getting a cancer diagnosis," Cam said.
The disease caused his lungs and heart to fail. And on Feb. 7, Titus lost his fight to NEC.
"He was alive for 28 days. But, man, he's made a huge impact," Cam said.
After his death, the Parker family founded the Titus Strong Foundation – which is dedicated to raising awareness about NEC and supporting families affected by this disease.
"We also want to bring hope to families – and not let families get blindsided by a diagnosis of NEC for their sweet baby that's in the NICU," Cam told WRAL News.
On Friday, the foundation will hold its first annual "Christmas and a Cure Silent Auction."
