A man who has 16 DWI convictions is now out of jail after a judge dropped his bond.
A Superior Court judge on Tuesday lowered Todd Baker’s bond from $1,000,000 to $200,000.

Pitt County deputies say in August they were sent to the man’s home on Brookview Place outside of Greenville where they discovered the 60-year-old Baker had driven into a fence on his own property while impaired.
Citizens have complained numerous times about Baker, according to deputies, about reckless driving and other activity.
Deputies say with the help of Greenville police, they discovered the man had driven through the city and into the county while almost causing numerous crashes.
He was originally charged with felony habitual driving while impaired and driving while license revoked, but deputies say when they went to arrest him, they found multiple guns. Baker was then charged with felony possession of firearm by felon, as well.
State records show Baker has had 16 DWI convictions since 1988.
After the man’s bond was lowered, Baker was released from the Pitt County jail.
