At 4:15 p.m., Tynasha Collins, 23, was at home when she was shot and killed. Police said Collins also shot Nicholson. Someone took Nicholson to Moore Regional Hospital, where he later died.

Investigators are working to identify at least two more people responsible for the home invasion and death of Collins. The incident is believed to be drug related.

Fields said Nicholson used to live in the neighborhood, and investigators are working to determine if there was any connection between him and Collins.

"It's sad to have this," Fields said. "We've lost two young lives over drugs. That's the bottom line, unfortunately."
