On Friday, Raleigh police released the phone calls from the series of shootings on Nov. 4-7.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, at least eight vehicles and four buildings were shot at beginning on Monday.

The only person hit was a woman driving her SUV on Monday along Interstate 40 near Chapel Hill Road and Cary Towne Boulevard. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
"I don't know what happened," the woman said to a 911 dispatcher. "I was driving on the highway [and] something hit my legs. I'm bleeding really bad."
Another man called 911 around 9 a.m. Thursday after gunfire hit his vehicle.
"I'm on Trailwood Road, and I believe ... my car has just been shot by whoever is shooting cars over here," the man said. "I was going, just about to go over the bridge on Trailwood [Road] and I-40 and my driver's side window shattered and there's a bullet in my door."
Another man called 911 the day before on I-40 near Cary Towne Boulevard said his truck was hit by a bullet while he was on his way to work that morning.
"Somebody was next to me in another car," the man said, adding that he didn't see the flash from a gunshot before his passenger side window was shot out.
Another resident who called 911 after their home on Shire Lane was struck by gunfire spoke with WRAL News on Friday. She said the bullet went right over her head as she was working from home. It went into her kitchen and missed her by a few inches.
"I didn't even hear the bullet hit through the wall," she said. "I just heard the impact on the cup it hit. It sounded like an explosion and I thought something in the kitchen had exploded. I couldn't really figure out what was going on until I left the kitchen and saw the bullet hole."
The woman said at the time of the shooting, she was unaware of the prior shootings along I-40 and around southwest Raleigh and didn't know what was going on. In total, four homes were hit and were within five miles of each other.
Police on Thursday arrested the man they say is responsible for the spree, 23-year-old Andrew Graney, and charged him with several felonies, including assault with a deadly weapon and firing a weapon into a occupied home or vehicles.
How police connected Graney to the shootings
Ben Levitan owns a Raleigh-based company specializing in cell phone records analysis. He often serves as an expert witness in criminal cases.
Levitan is not involved in the case involving Graney.
“What these records are going to tell you that's of interest in this case is one and only one thing,” Levitan said. “It tells you the cell tower to which you are closest.”
Levitan said police gathered “very good circumstantial evidence.”
Also, Levitan said what the police did was “brilliant” to use the cell phone data in the investigation. He also said phones have a lot of technical information in them.
