Two men charged with murder after Wilson shooting leaves one dead, another injured

Wilson police arrested two men suspected of murder.

Autavion Dorrian Lucas, 21, of Wilson, and Tyree Demetrius Lucas, 24, of Wilson, are each charged with one count of felony murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.

Authorities are holding both men on no bond.

Police responded to a report of a shooting around 9:12 p.m. Friday at the 1200 block of Downing Street.

Anthony Barnes died in the shooting, police said. He was 43.

Another 43-year-old man was injured in the shooting, police said. First responders took him to the hospital.
