UNC police release body camera footage from pro-Palestinian protests at UNC
It's been more than six months since demonstrations boiled over
between pro Palestinian demonstrators and police here on UN C
grounds
Well we've obtained more than 30 video clips showing body
camera footage from those police officers across the UN C
system
We're showing you the most confrontational moments a day of
heated confrontations wro captured the tense moments like this woman
getting pushed down after pro Palestinian protesters took the American
flag down twice back in April newly obtained body
Cam video provides a different perspective from the chaotic mo
This clip captures officers who arrive at the days long
encampment on campus walking through it as chants from demonstrators
blur in the background
The police repeatedly give orders for demonstrators to leave
behind the free Palestine banner resist when officers pull it
away
In a matter of seconds we see a protester on
the ground screaming kicking police pull her to her feet
Another video captures a demonstrator rebuking officers as they continue
to clear out the area
Officer's camera shows police trying to pry apart the cluster
