Warrant links shootings at three homes to gang feud
Raleigh police believe that an ongoing feud between two criminal
street gangs may be responsible for hundreds of shots blasted
into occupied cars and homes
So far this man Anthony Woodard has been arrested and
indicted on gun charges related to these incidents that spanned
last summer
Police say he's a member of the Wicked street gang
This rival gang feud started in August in the Huddingham
community
This house on Shadow Glen Drive in the Hedingham community
was blanketed with bullets on August 14th of last year
One day later this home on Hailing Drive was also
struck by gunfire
A new warrant states 6 people are observed exiting a
car at least 2 of them carrying what appear to
be rifles
Several of them opened fire
Police then find 86 spent shell casings consisting of a
mix of pistol and rifle caliber rounds
The next day Raleigh police respond here to Brandy Crest
Drive in Raleigh in reference to shots fired into an
occupied home
Surveillance video shows two people firing several rounds into the
home before fleeing
And that 72 spent shell casings consisting of a mix
of pistol and rifle calibers were also recovered
Officers with Raleigh's gang suppression unit according to the warrant
believes victims living on hailing and Brandycrest were targeted by
a street gang called Wicked Chelsea Donovan WREL News Raleigh
