A Weldon man is in jail after he was arrested Saturday for a July murder in Halifax County.
26-year-old Jada Ausby was arrested for allegedly shooting and killing Moncrinique Clements last month, the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said. The shooting was at the Dogwood Park Apartments in Weldon.

Ausby turned himself in to the sheriff's office Saturday night, deputies said.
He was served with a murder warrant and is being held at the Halifax County Jail without bond.
Ausby will appear in court on Wednesday.
