Two men were arrested last Thursday after Oxford police said they were connected to an April 5 shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
Oxford police were called just after midnight to a home on Raleigh Road. When officers arrived, they found a man with five gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where the latest update was that he was in serious condition.

Officers arrested 22-year-old Demarcus Lotrelle Wilkerson, and charged him with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury and one count of discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling.
Oxford police updated WRAL News on Wednesday that on April 9, officers arrested 44-year-old Lemario Develle Wilkerson and 31-year-old Terrence Terell Pulliam in connection with this shooting.
Lemario Wilkerson is being held on a $110,000 bond after being charged with the following:
- Trafficking in cocaine
- Maintaining a dwelling for use or storage of controlled substances
- Possession of a firearm by felon
- Accessory after the fact for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury
Pulliam was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill/inflicting serious injury, possession of a firearm by felon and shooting into occupied vehicle.
Pulliam was held without bond due to being on pretrial release for possession of a firearm by felon, according to Oxford police.
Officers searched two homes on Raleigh Road on April 5, as well as the surrounding areas of the initial crime scene, and found several weapons and ammunition, as well as cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
