Sheriff’s deputies identified the driver accused of a high speed chase through Wake County on Wednesday afternoon.
On Thursday, deputies said Jashawn Jeffreys, 20, was arrested. Deputies said he faces several charges, including fleeing to elude arrest, assault with a deadly weapon on government officers, reckless driving-wanton disregard, no operator's license and three counts of injury to personal property.

Sky 5 flew near Spectrum Drive in Knightdale and spotted a man being apprehended around 12:35 p.m., where a man was seen in handcuffs receiving medical attention.
It is unclear if that man was Jeffreys or not.
A sedan with significant damage was parked at the scene.
Wake and Durham County deputies were searching for two men who ran from a crash after a multi-county chase on Wednesday morning. It's not immediately known if this arrest was related to that search.
